The children have returned to school happily - it is lovely to see how we are starting to see signs of Spring around our beautiful school grounds. The children have even played on the grass!
Jesus said "I am the good shepherd."
He cared about people, listened to them and gave them food and drink. He helped them when they were ill and was willing to give up his life and die for them. This is also the description of a good parent who like a shepherd are never off duty. The length is for life, the reason is for love.
God of all people you have given us a reliable and caring guide in Jesus our shepherd.
May the message of his good news help us to hear his voice speaking to us today.
May we recognise his voice in the cry of all those in need. Amen
